The ACP Maryland Wellness Committee is dedicated to fostering communities of well-being for internal medicine physicians, helping them thrive professionally while providing the best possible care to patients.

The committee hosts monthly Story Swaps, virtual gatherings where physicians from across all career stages come together to share experiences, reflections, challenges, and aspirations in medicine and life. A valued chapter tradition for more than three years, these sessions build connection, support, and community among members.

In addition, the committee organizes quarterly in-person wellness events that bring together medical students, trainees, and physicians to connect, network, and focus on personal well-being. The committee also plans wellness-focused programming at the chapter’s annual meetings, further promoting engagement, resilience, and professional fulfillment.
