Disclosure of Interests and Management of Conflicts of Interest

All committee members and ACP staff disclose financial and intellectual interests prior to the start of each Performance Measurement Committee meeting and conference call. Management of conflicts of interests is discussed at the start of each meeting and the summaries are publicly available.

Charge

To promote scientifically sound performance measures and measurement strategies to improve the quality of patient care and practice of Internal Medicine.

Composition (12-13)

Chair, Vice Chair, and 10 additional ACP member physicians. Immediate Past Chair shall serve for 1 year after their term expiration as a Chair, with no reappointment (maximum of 1 year).

The President and Chair of the Board of Regents are invited to attend meetings as guests.

Terms

Chair, Vice Chair, and members serve one-year terms renewable up to three times for a total of four years, unless extended by the Chair, Board of Regents. Immediate Past Chair shall serve a maximum of 1 additional year.
