
Responding to the diverse interests and opportunities of internal medicine physicians, to lead change and drive improvements in care delivery, ACP is expanding its ability to equip members with tools and skills tailored to the individual physician’s career stage and practice type. ACP looks to expand and build upon its success with the Waxman Scholars program, but creating additional programs and structures to connect Internal Medicine Physicians with skill building opportunities to advance their careers.
These programs help ACP members maximize their potential at all career stages. Enhanced professional and clinical skills elevate their leadership in medical practice, academia, public health, patient education and health promotion, public policy, technology, health and business administration, entrepreneurship, or other areas that affect the quality, improvement of, and access to care and wellness.
