Delaware Chapter College Awards
Marci L. Drees, MD, FACP & Theodore F. Saad, MD, FACP receives 2025 Laureate Award
The Delaware Chapter presented the 2025 Laureate Awards to Drs. Drees and Saad. The Laureate Award honors Fellows and Masters of the College who have demonstrated a commitment to excellence in medical care, education, research, and service to the community. It is the highest award given by individual ACP chapters. In his work serving patients in various clinical settings, conducting research and contributing significantly to the medical literature, and serving as a mentor and leader, Drs. Drees and Saad epitomize the qualities of a Laureate award winner.
Grace Y. Kwon, MD, FACP and Darshan K. Patel, MD, FACP, receives 2025 Hospitalist Award
Drs. Kwon and Patel are our Chapter's 2025 Hospitalist Award winners. Drs. Kwon and Patel are outstanding clinicians, colleagues, educators, and mentors and we are pleased to recognize them with the Hospitalist Award.
Kunal P. Bhagat, MD, FACP, receives 2025 Lang Award
Dr. Bhagat is our Chapter's 2025 Leonard P. Lang Award winner. The Leonard P. Lang Award is given annually to honor an internist and Chapter member who exemplifies in his or her personal and professional life the qualities of an outstanding internist.
