FACP Instructions for Convocation 2026
Date: Thursday, April 16, 2026
Time: Convocation begins promptly at 6:00 p.m. and lasts until approximately 90 minutes.
Location: The Convocation ceremony will be held in Hall F, George R. Moscone Center, San Francisco, California.
Registration for Convocation:
Registration for Convocation will open in early January 2026. A link will be live at www.acponline.org/convocation. FACPs elected between January 2024 – March 2026 who have not yet participated in Convocation will automatically be invited to the 2026 Convocation Ceremony via email.
Stoles Pick Up:
You may pick up your stoles early on Wednesday, April 15 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. near Registration (South Lobby) or on Thursday, April 16 from 10:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. at the same location. If unable to pick up your stole early, you may also pick up your stole in the FACP Check-In Area, in Hall F of the Moscone Center in San Francisco, CA beginning at 4:30 p.m. Coat check will be provided in front of Hall F. All new FACPs must report to the Governors and New Fellows Assembly Area with their stoles no later than 5:00 p.m. You may keep your stole following the ceremony.

Assembly and Lines of March:
There will be four lines of march, designated by color, and signs indicating the aisle of march for each chapter/region will be displayed in the Assembly room as well as the back of the auditorium. Please be sure to remain in your designated line at all times and follow the color arrows on the floor that correspond to the color of your line.
Seating:
Special seats will be reserved in the auditorium for the inductees.
Guests:
Guests are welcome to attend Convocation and no tickets are required. Seating for guests is on a first-come, first-served basis from 5:00-5:45 p.m. in Hall F and is suspended during the processional. Seating will continue after the processional.
Special Assistance:
Any Convocation participants who require special assistance to attend the ceremony should contact John Haefele at ACP Headquarters by March 13, 2026, via e-mail at jhaefele@acponline.org.
Candid Photographs:
Photographers will be taking candid photographs of Convocation participants in the hours leading up to and during the ceremony. Some of these photos may be used in future ACP promotional materials.
Wall of Fame:
New FACPs and their families are invited to visit the Wall of Fame, listing new FACPs invited to Convocation this year. A terrific photo opportunity! The Wall of Fame is located in Hall F Lobby.
Fees:
There are no fees regarding the Convocation Ceremony.
Deadlines:
Participants must register by March 13, 2026 to take part in Convocation. We are unable to accommodate walk-ins.
