 Governor's Welcome

Good day everyone!

Happy 250th birthday to our United States Navy! It was great to see those who were able to attend the TriService meeting in September in Virginia Beach! I hope attendees found it valuable, learned something new and connected with colleagues. We're beginning to plan the next TriService meeting – likely Washington DC area. If you'd like to be involved in planning or meeting execution, please message me.

I'm thrilled to announce CAPT Alden Chiu has been selected as the next governor of our Navy ACP chapter! Alden will begin his Governor Elect year at the National ACP meeting in April and assume the role of Governor in April 2027.

 Volunteer Leadership Opportunities

Looking for ways to get more involved with ACP?

  1. 2026 TriService Planning Committee – LOTS of opportunities to participate
  2. Councils – Our three military chapters are starting TriService Councils to offer our members opportunities to engage at the chapter level and become more competitive for National council & committee membership.
  3. a) Council of resident & fellow members – Our Navy Chair is Dr. Leanne Cuesta. Please contact her, if you'd like to know more leeann.h97@gmail.com
  4. b) Council of Chief Residents – We're setting this up now
  5. c) Council of Early Career Physicians – This one is notional right now. Dr. Mary Ford (Army Chapter) is on the National CECP and interested in helping get a TriService Council started. If you'd like to serve as the Navy lead/chair, please contact me.
