ACP Physicians Well-being Champions - Cross Talk Live with Experts

Organizer: Physician's Well-being Committee, Japan branch of the American College of Internal Medicine

Summary: Work style reform for doctors has become a big topic in recent years. But are your institution's efforts really aimed at improving the way doctors work? Is it an ad hoc way to deal with working hour restrictions? Doctors are at the mercy of "work style reform" and the response of their facilities ... In order to avoid this, doctors' ability to cope with stress and self-care is required more than ever.

The Physician's Well-being Committee, a branch Japan the American College of Internal Medicine (ACP), has been working continuously since 2021 to address physician health and burnout issues. This time, Dr. Chair of the Physician-Wellness Committee at ACP Headquarters and Vice President of Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. We invited Susan Hingle to hear about efforts to improve well-being in the United States and learn about specific stress coping and self-care methods. Please join us!
