Provider Relief Fund Payments Reporting for Period 4
Provider Relief Fund payments were intended to provide funds to hospitals, physicians, and other healthcare entities to cover COVID-related expenses and revenue losses. If you received payment during Period 4, July 1, 2021, to December 31, 2021, you must use your funds by December 31, 2022, and report your payment by March 31, 2023. Extended - 2022 MIPS Extreme and Uncontrollable Circumstances Exception Closes 3/3
MIPS eligible clinicians, groups, and virtual groups may apply to reweight any or all MIPS performance categories if they have been affected by extreme and uncontrollable circumstances due to the current COVID-19 public health emergency. The Extreme and Uncontrollable Circumstances (EUC) Exception application for PY 2022 is now open until 8:00 PM ET on March 3, 2023. COVID-19 Post Public Health Emergency (PHE) Flexibilities
On January 11, 2023, Secretary Becerra renewed the PHE for another 90 days and it is scheduled to expire on April 11, 2023. For information on which flexibilities will end at the end of the PHE, please visit ACP’s COVID-19 Practice Management Resources page.
