Voting Information
Voting for the next Governor-elect begins September 25, 2026, and concludes on November 6, 2026.
Eligible voting members (MACPs, FACPs, Members, Fellows-in-Training, and 2-year Resident Members with an elect date of 9/1/2024 or earlier) will receive an election email containing their unique and personal voting credentials to vote online.
- Ballot materials are not sent from ACP directly. ACP has partnered with Survey & Ballot Systems (SBS) to conduct the election.

Candidate Bios
Candidate Statement: ACP has played a significant role in my professional development through leadership opportunities, mentorship, advocacy, and service. Over the years, I have served on the Governor’s Council, co-chaired Resident/Fellow and Medical Student Committees, and helped lead regional poster competitions. As Medical Director for Inpatient Services and Program Director of the Internal Medicine Residency at Riverside University Health System, I see firsthand the challenges facing physicians and patients in medically underserved communities. My priorities include protecting and expanding graduate medical education funding, preserving Public Service Loan Forgiveness, supporting international medical graduates, advocating for fair physician reimbursement, and reducing administrative burdens that contribute to burnout. I also support ACP’s efforts to improve access to care, strengthen preventive medicine, and develop future physician leaders. As Governor, I will work to ensure that community physicians, academic physicians, residents, and students all have meaningful opportunities to engage with ACP and advance our profession together.

Candidate Statement: My desire to serve as the SoCal Region 2 ACP Governor stems from a commitment to give back to my professional community and advance the College’s mission of excellence and leadership in internal medicine. Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to learn from mentors who modeled service, leadership, and dedication to our profession. I hope to continue their work by strengthening opportunities for learning, advocacy, and collaboration, empowering physicians to grow and lead throughout their careers. My vision is to expand mentorship opportunities that cultivate the next generation of internal medicine leaders by engaging medical students, residents, and early-career physicians in ACP activities. I am dedicated to promoting physician well-being and resilience through initiatives that support both personal and professional fulfillment. As Governor, I will amplify member voices, encourage meaningful engagement, and ensure our chapter remains a vibrant and supportive community that inspires leadership and strengthens connections among members.
