Voting Information
Voting for the next Governor-elect begins September 25, 2026, and concludes on November 6, 2026.
Eligible voting members (MACPs, FACPs, Members, Fellows-in-Training, and 2-year Resident Members with an elect date of 9/1/2024 or earlier) will receive an election email containing their unique and personal voting credentials to vote online.
- Ballot materials are not sent from ACP directly. ACP has partnered with Survey & Ballot Systems (SBS) to conduct the election.

Candidate Bios
Candidate Statement: My desire to serve as ACP Governor stems from a deep commitment to advancing internal medicine, developing physician leaders, and supporting physicians throughout their careers. As a Program Director, Chief of Staff, and physician leader, I have consistently promoted ACP membership and engagement among residents and medical students, encouraged scholarly activity, and integrated ACP educational resources into training. I am particularly passionate about empowering women physicians and physicians from underrepresented and minority backgrounds to pursue leadership opportunities, challenge themselves, and realize their full potential. I believe diverse perspectives strengthen our profession and improve the care we provide. As medicine undergoes unprecedented transformation, ACP plays a vital role in education, advocacy, mentorship, and professional support. As Governor, I would work to strengthen member engagement, expand leadership development and mentorship opportunities, promote physician well-being, and help ensure that physicians can continue to provide exceptional care to the patients and communities they serve.

ACP Chapter and Leadership Activities: Over the past five years, my ability to participate in ACP activities has been limited by significant administrative, educational, and leadership responsibilities within my hospital and residency program. Despite these demands, I have remained committed to advancing the mission of ACP through education, mentorship, and resident and medical student engagement. Since joining ACP, I have consistently encouraged resident participation in ACP activities and strongly support membership among our Internal Medicine residents. Our residency program actively promotes ACP involvement as an important component of professional development. I have also mentored residents and faculty members in the development and presentation of scholarly work, including posters and research presentations submitted to ACP meetings. Furthermore, MKSAP resources are routinely provided and disseminated to all residents and faculty within our Internal Medicine Residency Program to support lifelong learning, board preparation, and continued professional development. As I look ahead, I hope to increase my direct involvement in ACP activities and contribute further to the College's mission of advancing excellence in internal medicine, medical education, quality improvement, and patient care.

Candidate Statement: I am humbled by the opportunity to be considered for election to the Board of Governors of the American College of Physicians. Throughout my career, I have focused on bringing physicians together to collaboratively address the evolving challenges facing the practice of medicine. As healthcare undergoes rapid transformation, our profession must advance innovative, patient-centered solutions that strengthen care delivery while supporting physicians on the front lines. My experience spans clinical leadership, healthcare innovation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and advocacy within complex healthcare systems. I have led the development of novel primary care models for high-risk, aging, and medically complex populations, while working closely with physicians, health systems, and policymakers to improve access, quality, and sustainability of care. If elected, I would bring a collaborative leadership style, a strong commitment to physician advocacy, and a passion for developing practical solutions that empower internists and improve outcomes for our patients and communities.
