March 2026

ACP Global

As the ACP Internal Medicine Meeting 2026 approaches, we look forward to welcoming internal medicine colleagues from around the world. If you are unable to join us in person, please consider our virtual registration, which provides livestream access to over 100 hours of scientific session programs.

This year’s meeting will open with a keynote address from Ashish K. Jha, MD, MPH, focusing on “Clinical Leadership and Trust in the Age of Information Chaos”, setting the stage for timely conversations.

We also invite you to join us at the Internal Medicine Meeting Welcome Reception on Wednesday, April 15, 6:00-7:30pm. Gather before the 3-day meeting to network, connect  with ACP Leadership, and celebrate the internal medicine community. The evening will feature light bites, live music, and complimentary soft drinks, with beer and wine available for purchase. Registration required ($25 per person).

Another special event to consider adding to your schedule during the meeting is the 19th Annual ACP Global Forum, Advancing Internal Medicine Through AI: Global Insights on Clinical Practice and Education, taking place Thursday, April 16, from 1:30–3:30 PM. This ticketed, interactive session will bring together internal medicine physician leaders from around the world to explore AI’s impact on clinical practice and medical education. Registration is required and space is limited. View all special event offerings during the meeting.

The College is proud to announce the recipient of the ACP Inspirational Global Member Award. Congratulations to Althea M. Aquart-Stewart, MD, FACP, from Kingston, Jamaica, recipient in the Established Physician category.  This award recognizes up to two ACP Global Members annually, who have made distinguished achievements in internal medicine. ACP is currently accepting nominations through July 1, 2026, for the 2026-27 awards cycle. More information about this and other national awards can be found here.

An opportunity not to miss is the Global Physician Scholar (GPS) Program, which is featured in this month’s communication. Applications for the 2026–27 cohort are now being accepted through June 1. Read on for more details.
