As 2026 begins, ACP extends our warmest wishes for a healthy and inspiring year ahead. We are excited to bring you this edition of the Global Engagement Update, highlighting tools, upcoming events, and resources to advance your professional journey in the year to come.
We look forward to convening in San Francisco, CA, from April 16–18 for ACP’s Internal Medicine Meeting 2026, continuing our tradition of excellence, innovation, and professional renewal. Register and learn more today!
Be sure to take advantage of the member-exclusive early bird registration rates ending on January 31. For even greater savings, consider coordinating a group of 10 or more using the Discounted Group Registration Rates for International Delegations by March 13.
Each January, the Annals of Internal Medicine editorial team curates a list of articles from the previous year that they consider essential reading for busy physicians, with content that exemplifies the groundbreaking, practice-changing clinical research that defines the Annals tradition. Annals: Spotlight on 2025 includes critical research, systematic reviews, clinical guidelines, and much more.
ACP, in collaboration with the American Society for Addiction Medicine, is proud to introduce the Alcohol Use Conversations Tool, an AI-powered simulation designed to help clinicians discuss risky alcohol behaviors with patients. This learning activity is grounded in the FRAMES model and supports skill-building in brief, 10-minute interventions that promote positive behavior change.
ACP is excited to participate in the following upcoming internal medicine conferences. If you plan to attend, we welcome you to stop by the ACP resource table:
- Qatar Health Congress 2026, January 28-31, 2026, in Doha, Qatar. Organized by the Hamad Medical Corporation.
