NEW ORLEANS April 2, 2025—The American College of Physicians (ACP) is honoring six chief residents as winners of the Herbert S. Waxman Chief Resident Teaching Scholarships at Internal Medicine Meeting 2025, ACP’s annual scientific meeting taking place April 3-5, at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.
The 2025 chief resident awardees are:

WASHINGTON March 31, 2025—Rural communities in the United States face a dire health crisis that threatens the population’s well-being, says the American College of Physicians, in a new policy published today in the Annals of Internal Medicine. Improving Health and Health Care in Rural Communities: A Position Paper from the American College of Physicians, says that it is critical that policymakers prioritize and direct attention to improving rural health and health care.
PHILADELPHIA March 31, 2025 -- The American College of Physicians (ACP) will honor the winners of its national abstract competitions during Internal Medicine Meeting 2025, ACP’s annual scientific meeting taking place April 3-5 in New Orleans. The competitions are open to ACP Early Career Physician Members, ACP Resident/Fellow Members, and Medical Students Members.
