Governor's Message
As we welcome this fiscal year together, I am filled with both gratitude and excitement. This will be my final year serving as Governor of our ACP Chapter, and I could not be prouder of what we have accomplished as a community. Thanks to your dedication, engagement, and passion for internal medicine, we have maintained a strong foundation of success while advancing our mission to serve patients, families, and our community.
The year ahead promises to be an exciting one. Together, we will not only continue to build on our achievements but also elevate expectations, expanding opportunities for professional growth, strengthening our advocacy, and fostering collaboration across our chapter. My goal is to ensure that we finish this term not just with pride in what has been done, but with renewed momentum for what lies ahead.
I invite each of you to join me in making this year a remarkable one. Let us continue to inspire, support, and learn from each other as we shape the future of medicine in our community.
Puerto Rico Chapter at 2025 ACP Internal Medicine Meeting

This year, the Puerto Rico Chapter Members actively participated in the 2025 Internal Medicine Annual Meeting held in New Orleans from April 3 to 7, 2025.

Chapter Reception at the National Meeting
As in previous years, our Chapter Reception at the National Meeting is one of the most anticipated events of the weekend. It provides a special opportunity for all our members attending the National Meeting to come together in one place, share insights, and discuss the latest news and interesting presentations from the conference.

Wellness Corner
Dr. Luzimar Conaway
As we step into August, many of you are getting your children ready to go back to school, while others are diving into a new fiscal work year. The key is not to forget to give your health the attention it deserves by engaging in wellness activities.
Take some time to walk, meditate, do yoga, or simply sit back and enjoy a nice view. Head to the beach, stroll through a local park, or settle down with a good book. Investing time in yourself not only boosts your health but also gives you the energy to tackle the new school year and fiscal year with enthusiasm.
Remember, investing in your wellness is one of the best things you can do for yourself, both now and in the future. Here at our wellness chapter, we're here to support and motivate you, and we hope to see you at our upcoming activities. See you soon!
