Member News

Kentucky medical centers welcomed their newest group of residents this summer. Several members of our chapter, who serve in leadership positions in these programs, have a strong role in mentoring this next generation of internal medicine physicians. One of these leaders is Jennifer A. Koch, MD, FACP, who serves as Professor of Medicine and Director of the Internal Medicine Training Program at University of Louisville. Having trained in the program, Dr. Koch has been involved in the administrative side of the program for over 15 years now. Dr. Koch received the 2019 Laureate Award from our chapter. Being at the helm of residency programs is yet another way our ACP members are making a difference.
