 Save-The-Date For The 2027 ACP Idaho Chapter Meeting

We are looking forward to seeing you at the upcoming meeting May 14 – 16, 2027 to be held at ICOM in Meridian, ID and we appreciate them accommodating us again. We have a great line-up of speakers and activities and CME available.

On the Agenda: Nephrology, Cardiology, Dermatology, Pulmonology, Rural Health, Doctor's Dilemma, Vascular Medicine, Palliative Care, SIM lab, and Rural Medicine.

The poster competition will be held on Friday May 14, 2027. More details, including the due dates for abstracts will be provided closer to the meeting date. If you have any questions about the conference, please email your chapter Executive Director Kelly Hess Start thinking about those award nominations! We typically present a Laureate Award, teaching award, an advocacy award, and distinguished internist.

We would like to congratulate Ritika Gupta, PGY-1 from EIRMC for her QI poster titled, “A Themed Multi-Station Clinical Simulation for Large-Group Resident Skill Development”. The chapter is sending her to the national abstract competition in 2027.

Olivia Peterson, MS3 from UW School of Medicine won second place with her Clinical Vignette poster, “Recognizing Cannabis-Driven Arteritis in the Absence of Tobacco”.

Am I Eligible?

If you can check all these requirements ...

  • At least 3 years' experience post residency training
  • ACP member in good standing for 3 of the past 4 years
  • Initial Board certified in internal medicine or neurology
  • Active medical license in good standing (if in clinical practice)

... and can demonstrate activity in three of the four pillars of Fellowship

  • Continuing Medical Education
  • Community Service & Engagement
  • Practice Improvement or Scholarly Activities
  • Teaching, Coaching, Mentorship, or Leadership
