Medical Student and Resident/Fellow Member Welcome Centers (10:00am - 4:30pm) CC, Hall DE Representatives of the national Council of Student Members (CSM) and ACP staff will be available to greet ACP members-in-training and provide information about programs and networking activities planned specifically for students and residents taking place throughout the meeting.
Turning a Clinical Case into Scholarly Work (2:15pm - 3:45pm) This program is designed to help medical students learn how to identify, claim, research, and submit clinical case report abstracts. Emphasis will be placed on the steps necessary to submit high-quality case report abstracts to scientific meetings and medical journals.
ACP Doctor's Dilemma Elimination Rounds (2:00 pm - 5:30 pm) Enjoy watching this fast-paced, Jeopardy-style program in which resident winners from local chapters test their knowledge of internal medicine.

Clinical Skills Center Open House (7:00am - 7:45am) CC, Hall C Stop by for complimentary coffee and an opportunity to meet the faculty and to roll up your sleeves and experience all that the Clinical Skills Center has to offer.
Stump the Professor (2:15pm - 3:15pm) CC, 119 Understand the thought processes of an experienced internist while solving medical problems.
International Medical Students Information Session (4:00 pm - 5:30 pm) CC, Room 117 Hosted by the Council of Student Members, this event will be facilitated by residency program directors and will address the questions and concerns of international medical students. Representatives from the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) will also be available to offer advice to international medical students.
ACP Doctor's Dilemma Semi-Final Rounds (3:30 pm - 5:30pm) Enjoy watching this fast-paced, Jeopardy-style program in which resident winners from local chapters test their knowledge of internal medicine.

Medical Student Mentoring Breakfast (7:00 am - 9:00 am) HQ This is a ticketed event. Medical students are invited to gather with internist mentors to discuss career options in internal medicine. Students are encouraged to register for this event onsite at the Medical Student Welcome Center located in the Convention Center throughout the meeting.
Medical Student Poster Competition (9:45 am -11:15 am) Posters will be on display for viewing at this time. If you are participating in the poster competition please review the information that was sent to you for competition details.
Medical Student Abstract Presentation Luncheon (10:00am – 12:30 pm) CC Room Winners of the competition present their award-winning work in the Research and Clinical Vignette categories. Complimentary boxed lunches will be provided. All winner and finalist abstracts will be available on our Web site.
ACP Innovation Challenge 2019: Fostering Partnerships between Physicians and Patients (10:30am – 12:00 pm) Innovation Theater #2 Watch this exciting live competition showcasing the best and brightest ideas from practicing physicians, fellows, residents, and medical students. Winners have the potential to transform the practice of internal medicine on a national level.
Mastering the Match (2:15pm - 3:45pm) CC 126 Gain insight from residency program directors about interview techniques and how to evaluate potential residency programs.
Closing Session - Internal Medicine Meeting 2018 Highlights and Doctor's Dilemma Finals (4:30 pm - 6:30 pm) The “Final Five” teams of residents who survive Thursday's and Friday's competitions will face off in the championship round.
Young Achievers Recognition Reception (6:30 pm - 7:30 pm) CC Room Join us as we celebrate the winners of the Medical Student and Resident/Fellow Abstract Competitions, the winning 2018 ACP Doctor's Dilemma team, and other national award winners.
Hackathon (8:00 am - 12:00 pm) CC, Hall C ACP is partnering with MIT's renowned Hacking Medicine program to bring a 4 hour Hackathon to Internal Medicine Meeting 2019. Join like-minded professionals, engineers, designers, developers and business people to brainstorm and build innovative prototypes to improve clinician workflow. No technical expertise is required. Advance registration required.
