PQRS 285 [Reviewed by NQF but not endorsed]: “Screening for Depressive Symptoms” Although this practice may help clinicians in determining the appropriate management of patients with dementia, there is a lack of high-quality evidence examining the impact of screening for depressive symptoms on clinical outcomes or on the appropriate interval for clinical assessment.
