Washington, September 25, 2015 -- The American College of
Physicians (ACP) sent this
letter to Dr. Karen DeSalvo, National Coordinator for Health
Information Technology and Acting Assistant Secretary for Health,
U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
ACP's letter was sent in response to the ONC Strategic Plan for Federal Health IT for
2015 - 2020.
ACP is the largest physician medical specialty society, and
the second largest physician-membership organization, in the United
States. ACP members include 141,000 internal medical physicians
(internists), related subspecialists, and medical students.
