BOR Action on Fall '21 BOG Resolutions

(December 2021) A summary of Board of Regents (BOR) actions on resolutions debated at the Fall 2021 Board of Governors (BOG) virtual meeting is now available. Resolutions initiated by ACP members and endorsed by a chapter council and the BOG become ACP policy when adopted by the BOR.

If you have an idea you'd like to suggest to ACP, consider submitting a resolution to our chapter.

Nominations Open for Chapter Awards

(November 2021) ACP India Chapter invites entries for the following awards from ACP MEMBERS for their outstanding contribution in respective fields. You can nominate your peers, friends, seniors, teachers whom you find appropriate candidate. You can submit their entries with a short description not more than 200 words with appropriate testimonials on or before 15th November 2021

Congratulations to Arumugam Muruganathan, MD, MACP on Mastership

(October 2021) Congratulations to Dr. Muruganathan, the newest India Chapter Mastership of the American College of Physicians (MACP).  MACP is one of the most prestigious awards in the college, for those fellows of the college who demonstrate integrity, the utmost professional behaviors, excellence in the practice of medicine, and significant impact on the profession.  MACPs represent a very small percentage of college membership.

India Chapter's Commitment to Medical Education

(Spring 2021) ACP India under the motivation of Dr. Anuj Maheshwari, is committed towards contributing in medical education in India. In this perspective there is a committee formed for participation of undergraduate and post graduate medical students. This committee will be planning and executing various student-oriented programs like quiz competitions, Clinical Skill development modules and other educational programs for development of organizational and communication skills in medical students & Residents. Our focus shall also remain on wellbeing of Doctors & Health care workers who are working hard for health of their patients at the cost of their own burnout. New Advisory Council is looking for the workshops & training of Early career physicians in the month of July 2021. We have already prepared a roadmap for CoviDiabetes, women health, geriatric health, nutrition, yoga & life style modifications for the remaining months of 2021.
