ACP Doctor’s Dilemma
The College's national medical jeopardy competition, ACP Doctor's Dilemma, is held each year at ACP’s annual Internal Medicine Meeting. The competition pits champion against champion in a battle to final jeopardy. Up to 50 teams of residents and medical students from around the nation compete for the coveted title of national champion.
ACP Herbert S. Waxman Chief Resident Teaching Scholarships
This scholarship was established to recognize outstanding chief medical residents and to provide them an opportunity to help teach popular clinical skills workshops at the Waxman Center under the guidance and mentorship of expert faculty at the ACP Internal Medicine Meeting. The Center provides hands-on, small group learning opportunities in the areas of communication, physical diagnosis, and hospital and office-based procedural skills.
Selected chief residents will help teach popular workshops under the guidance and mentorship of expert faculty. Eligible workshops include ultrasound-guided invasive procedures (central line, paracentesis, and lumbar puncture), arthrocentesis and bursal injections, and abscess incision and drainage.
Scholarship funding includes the cost of meeting registration, travel, and accommodations for chief residents to attend Internal Medicine Meeting 2016 from May 5-7 in Washington, DC.
The application opens on Tuesday, September 1, 2015
Please note: Only chief residents who are ACP Resident/Fellow Members are eligible to apply. Eligible chief residents can access the application by logging into ACP Chief Resident's Corner.
