Governor-Elect Voting
It's already time to vote for our next Chapter Governor. This year we have two superb candidates who are running for Governor-elect, Lesleigh A. Box, MD, MPH, FACP and Carolyn G. McFarlane, MD, FACP. I wanted to acknowledge and thank them both for their enthusiastic work on behalf of our Chapter over the years. To learn more about their background and experience, see their biographies and candidate statements available on our Chapter's Website
The election is taking place between September 30 and November 4. Members can vote online or by mail-in ballot. The ballot will be mailed to you and includes your ACP Member Number and Election Passcode that are required to cast a vote.
To ensure your voting experience is smooth and easy, please note the following: Voting materials are not sent from ACP directly. ACP has partnered with Survey & Ballot Systems (SBS) to conduct the election, so you may need to check your spam/junk folder for your ballot. The subject of the ballot email is “ACP 2022 Governor-elect Election Voting Information”. We encourage you to add noreply@directvote.net as an approved sender so that your ballot arrives safely in your inbox.

ACP Fellowship - ACP Fellowship Information Session 10/26/2022 @ 6:30pm for Idaho Members Virtual session, Zoom link will be sent when you sign up
Are you interested in becoming a Fellow of the American College of Physicians? Fellowship in the College is an honor. Being an FACP® is a distinction earned from colleagues who recognize your accomplishments and achievements over and above the practice of medicine. The most important considerations for ACP Fellowship are excellence and contributions made to both medicine and to the broader community in which the internist lives and practices.
We need Fellows! I know there are many awesome internists in our membership and adding that FACP helps to recognize this! The requirements are vague, on purpose, so it's not just checking boxes. The College is trying to make the fellowship application process easier and more transparent. To that end, we'll have an info session 10/26/2022, please click HERE to sign up! I am on the Credentials Committee which is responsible for reviewing all the FACP applications, so I have a good idea of the pathways, and what the committee is looking for in the application.
ACP Fellowship is primarily achieved through advancement from ACP Membership.* Fellows are authorized to use the letters FACP (Fellow of the American College of Physicians) in connection with their professional activities for as long as their membership remains current. FACP is a federally registered service mark and is defined as providing recognition by way of an honorific. Fellows of the American College of Physicians have the right to vote, hold office, and sponsor applicants for Membership and Fellowship.
