The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) recently started issuing Advanced Alternative Payment Model (APM) lump sum bonus payments for the 2018 performance year on Friday, September 11, 2020. Clinicians who achieved Qualified Participant status through a qualifying Advanced APM (or multiple) in 2018 earn a bonus worth five percent of the paid amount for covered Medicare Part B professional services.
All clinicians must have up-to-date billing information in order to receive the bonus payment. Any clinicians who did not receive a bonus and believe they are owed one should complete a form and submit it to the CMS Help Desk.

The deadline for all submissions is November 13, 2020. Late requests will not be accepted and any bonuses earned will be forfeited.
