Washington, January, 7, 2013 - Renee Butkus today was promoted to director of Health Policy by the American College of Physicians (ACP). Previously manager of ACP's Health Policy and Research Department since 2006, she is now the director of ACP's department of Health Policy, working with the College's Health and Public Policy Committee to develop and implement policy on issues affecting the health care of the American public and the practice of internal medicine and its subspecialties. Butkus will be reporting to Shari Erickson, ACP's vice president for Governmental and Regulatory Affairs.
