It has been quite a year. You have received an overwhelming number of emails from ACP and other organizations and I have hesitated to add to that burden. We do finally seem to be making headway on COVID 19 with increased vaccinations and looking towards getting out more soon. I have several announcements that I do want to share below.

- Please save the date for the New Hampshire ACP Scientific Conference Friday, October 29 at Grappone Center and virtually.
- Lin Brown, MD was awarded Mastership from the ACP. Dr. Brown has been a Clinical Professor of Medicine in the Department of Rheumatology at Dartmouth Hitchcock since 1985 and has been active in research, medical education and the clinical practice of medicine. Please join me in congratulating Dr. Brown.
- Kenton Powell MD has been elected and now sworn in as Governor Elect of the New Hampshire ACP. He will work alongside me over the next year and succeed me as Governor at the end of the April 2022 ACP Scientific Meeting. Dr. Powell is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Dartmouth Hitchcock and is Director of the Primary Care Track Residency Program. Please join me in welcoming Dr. Powell to his new role.
