Who We Are |
For 35 years, the Foundation has provided tuition scholarships and other support for osteopathic medical students from Alaska. We also provide a grant to the Alaska Osteopathic State Association to support their CME conferences each year. We are proud to support our friends and colleagues that call Alaska home! Besides scholarships, the Foundation provides a variety of programs for medical students (allopathic and osteopathic), residents, and physicians. Several times each year, we hold “Talk with a Rural Doc” seminars for medical students; starting this summer we will be offering a six seminar series on Life Skills for medical residents and a series of workshops to help support everyone interesting in being involved in health policy at the county, state, and national level.
