Governor's Welcome Brazil

Welcome to the ACP Brazil Chapter website! This site has been developed to keep internal medicine physicians and subspecialists in Brazil current on the developments and activities in our Chapter.

ACP is the largest medical specialty organization. Membership comprises more than 161,000 internal medicine physicians, medical students, and allied health professionals. Our Brazil chapter has a growing membership of 386. We are your link to the larger organization and your local provider of educational, professional, and social programs. Our goal is to be your local professional home.

As Governor, I’m responsible for representing our Chapter to the headquarters; encouraging internal medicine physicians in our country to become members; helping members advance to Fellowship; recognizing members for their achievements; hosting local scientific meetings and CME events; and encouraging Medical Student Members and Resident/Fellow Members to participate in local and national College activities. We offer valuable networking, professional development, and educational activities to enhance your member experience.

Keep an eye on your inbox for our chapter newsletters and other communications from the chapter highlighting member achievements, as well as upcoming opportunities to engage with one another. You can also find contact information for our chapter. We welcome any suggestions you might have for our website and the chapter - We need your feedback so we can better serve you and do our part to help make us all better, happier internal medicine physicians.

I encourage you to visit this site frequently for updates and join us at one of our upcoming programs! And if you’re not currently a member, please consider becoming one and taking advantage of all the excellent ACP benefits.

If you have questions, please reach out to me or our chapter staff, Jose Belem at any time. I look forward to engaging with you!
