John O'Neill, DO, established Bayview Internal Medicine in Middletown in 2008. He has hospital admitting privileges at Christiana Care Health System, and has been on the Christiana Care Health System Board of Trustees since 1997. He has had a number of leadership roles within Christiana Care Health System, serving on the Board of Directors of the Christiana Care Physician Organization from 1997 to 2000, including chairman of that board, 1999 to 2000.
A member of the Medical Society of Delaware since 1991, he has served on the Medical Society of Delaware Board of Trustees and chaired the Membership Committee. He is an Instructor in Medicine, Jefferson Medical College, and has been an office-based preceptor for 3rd and 4th year medical students since 1993. He has also served as preceptor for junior and senior undergraduates at the University of Delaware through the Medical Scholars Program.
