MIPS data submission period now open for clinicians

The Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) data submission period is now open for eligible clinicians who participated in Year 2 (2018) of the Quality Payment Program (QPP). Data can be submitted and updated from January 2, 2019 to April 2, 2019. To submit your 2018 MIPS data visit the Quality Payment Program website. For more information on submitting data, please visit the 2018 MIPS Data Submission FAQS.

To help physicians prepare for the 2019 performance year of the MIPS, CMS has posted new resources to the Quality Payment Program Resource Library. For more information, visit the QPP website.

Submit Notice of Intent to Apply for Medicare Shared Savings Program by January 18

CMS is accepting Notices of Intent to Apply (NOIAs) via the Accountable Care Organization (ACO) Management System (ACO-MS) for the July 1st start date for the redesigned Medicare Shared Savings Program, Pathways to Success. Submissions are due January 18th at 12:00 PM ET. For more information please visit https://acoms.cms.gov.


2018 QPP Performance Data Submission Period Starts January 1st

Both MIPS eligible clinicians and qualified APM participants need to submit all 2018 performance data to CMS by March 31st. Before submitting check your 2018 MIPS eligibility status which was recently updated and may have changed.
