FAQ

Due to rapidly escalating health concerns related to the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus), our chapter has come to the difficult decision to move to virtual for the 2020 meeting. In the spirit of our chapter values to “adapt and overcome,” we have decided to move to a virtual event.

How do I find and access which sessions will be virtual?

Sessions will be marked on the Chapter Web site as virtual and found in the virtual meeting gallery. We will add a link for the audience to join virtual sessions in the online session gallery. Only registered attendees who are logged in will be able to access these links.  If you have any difficulty accessing your ACP account, you can reset your username and password. You can do so by clicking on the MyACP link at the top of the ACP web site.  Nonmembers are advised to use their e-mail address as their username when creating a password. If you require additional assistance, please contact us (M-F, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET) via web chat or call 800-ACP-1915 or 215-351-2600 or via e-mail at help@acponline.org

Will attendees be able to ask questions or participate in the session, or is the session just going to consist of streamed presentations?

We are aiming to make options available that include attendee interaction options like a live chat window and/or polling. We would like for sessions to be interactive when possible and desired.

I have submitted an abstract for the competition. Will I be presenting at this meeting

Only if you are a finalist. Everyone who has submitted an abstract will be presenting during the chapter competition being held separately on Oct. 10, 2020 via Zoom, but only the finalists from that day will be presenting at the Oct. 24 Scientific Meeting.

For other questions about the virtual meeting, please contact Chapter Staff by telephone at 402-983-9462 or e-mail cindy@omahamedical.com.
