Fostering Excellence in Internal Medicine
Please join me and your colleagues in Internal Medicine at the virtual Scientific Meeting of the Kansas Chapter of the American College of Physicians, being held October 22–23, 2020.
Over the past few months, we as physicians have faced unusual challenges through the pandemic. To provide access and an added benefit to members, as well as to welcome attendance from non-members, there will be no registration fee to attend the Kansas Chapter meeting this year. The meeting is a great way for you to experience virtual education with wonderful speakers. Connect with the Kansas Chapter’s rich source of knowledge content and networking by participating in our premier meeting for general internists, subspecialty internists, hospitalists, allied health practitioners, residents and medical students. Some lectures will be pre-recorded to offer flexibility for you to attend.
In addition to earning CME credits, this conference allows the opportunity to get involved in your chapter. You will engage virtually with people who know your challenges and can help you find solutions. The opportunities available at this meeting will help you meet not only your needs as a physician but also the needs of the patients you serve.
We look forward to connecting with you virtually.

Due to rapidly escalating health concerns related to the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus), our chapter has come to the difficult decision to move to virtual for the 2020 meeting. In the spirit of our chapter values to “adapt and overcome,” we have decided to move to a virtual event.
How do I find and access which sessions will be virtual?
I cannot access my ACP account or I do not have an ACP account.
Will attendees be able to ask questions or participate in the session, or is the session just going to consist of streamed presentations?
Will sessions be recorded and archived for later consumption?
For other questions about the virtual meeting, contact Denise Lantz at 785-235-2383 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
