Congratulations to the Colorado Chapter Governor-elect Designee (GED), Alwin F. Steinmann, MD, FACP. Dr. Steinmann will begin his term as Governor-elect on August 19, 2019. He will take office as Governor on February 11, 2020 and his term will end at the conclusion of the Annual Business Meeting on April 20, 2024. As Governor, Dr. Steinmann will serve as the official representative of the College for the Colorado Chapter, providing a link between members at the local level and leadership at the national level. In the meantime, Dr. Steinmann will be working closely with Dr. Reimer and both chapter and National staff over the next several months to transition into his new position.
