Physician Industry Relations
Physician conflicts of interest are discussed in the ACP Ethics Manual, Sixth Edition.
A two-part position paper on physician-industry relations offers guidance for making ethical decisions in interactions with industry. Part One focuses on issues for individual physicians. Part Two discusses ethical concerns for providers of medical education, academic units that accept industry support, and medical professional societies.
