National Competitions
The College sponsors local and national competitions especially for Resident/Fellow Members that offer monetary awards and the opportunity to receive recognition. The winning entries in both the National Clinical Vignette and Research Paper competitions are featured each year at the College's premier scientific meeting, Internal Medicine. Winners and finalists receive complimentary registration to the meeting.
Abstracts are divided into four categories: Clinical Vignette, Basic Research, Clinical Research, Quality Improvement - Patient Safety.
ACP will be holding a National Abstracts Competition as part of Internal Medicine 2014. The meeting will take place April 10 - 12, 2014, in Orlando, Florida. The submission deadline each year for the national competitions is December 1.

Information for Poster Finalists:
All Chapter winners will compete in the poster competitions at Internal Medicine 2013 regardless of their presentation at the Chapter meeting. Please check with your ACP Chapter office for details concerning your meeting registration fee, travel, and housing options.
