High Value Care Cases

This module provides knowledge, tools and strategies that support physicians in their ability to: list key differences between charges for inpatient and outpatient services; explain how delayed diagnosis and diagnostic errors increase cost by extending hospitalizations and increasing morbidity and mortality; list strategies related to the optimization of medication reconciliation; identify the out-of-pocket costs associated with different types of hospital discharge.
