Advocacy Events
Leadership Day
ACP Services Inc. holds an annual advocacy day on Capitol Hill. This event provides an opportunity for ACP and our members to increase our presence in Washington and bring visibility to issues of common concern. Participants receive a comprehensive orientation and briefing on ACP’s top legislative priorities and then have an opportunity to meet with legislators and the staff on Capitol Hill.

State of the Nation's Health Care
On Jan. 26 at ACP’s annual State of the Nation’s Health Care briefing we told Congress that a framework of fiscally and socially responsible policies need to be put into place instead of the across-the-board cuts called for by last summer’s budget deal.
Congressional Testimony
Periodically ACP leadership is invited to testify before congressional committee and subcommittee hearings about issues of concern to internists and their patients.
Hill Briefings
ACP holds periodic hill briefings on Capitol Hill. They are designed to bring ACP leaders together with Congressional staffers to make sure that legislators and their staff are thoroughly familiar with the issues and aspect’s of ACP’s legislative agenda.
