Addis Costello Awardees

The Addis Costello Award is given by the Wisconsin Chapter of the ACP in memory of Dr. Costello, a Milwaukee physician leader who worked tirelessly to publicly define and channel collegial effort to deal with the socioeconomic concerns affecting the practice of Internal Medicine. This award is given to active internists for their diligent efforts or achievements in the socioeconomic aspects of medical practice. It recognizes clinicians rather than medical scientists.

Volunteerism & Community Service Awardees

This award, established as a nod to the tradition of volunteerism within internal medicine, recognizes the work of chapter members who are involved in volunteerism and community service activities. This award also enables us to raise awareness while promoting dialogue and action in volunteerism within our communities. Service must be voluntary and not required for the completion of teaching, training, or position requirements.
