Governor Election Results
Congratulations to the South Carolina Chapter Governor-Elect Designee, Michael M. Hawkins, MD, FACP. Our newly elected Governor-elect Designee will start his four-year term as Governor in the Spring of 2010. As Governor, Dr. Hawkins will serve as the official representative of the College for the South Carolina Chapter, providing a link between members at the local level and leadership at the national level. In the meantime, Dr. Hawkins will be working closely with Dr. Clancy, the current Governor, and College staff to learn about the College and his duties as Governor.
