Call for Volunteerism Award Nominations
The Arkansas Chapter is currently accepting nominations for the 2012 Volunteerism Award. This award has been initiated to honor members of the Arkansas Chapter who have distinguished themselves in voluntary service in the area of medicine.
Awardees must be Masters, Fellows, Members, or Associates of the College. Self-nominations are not permitted. The service must have been performed on a voluntary basis and not required for the completion of teaching, training, or position requirements. Volunteer work must have been done as a physician and be medically related.
Award recipients who are members of the College will be eligible for nomination for the Oscar E. Edwards Memorial Award for Volunteerism and Community Service presented by the national ACP each year at the College's Annual Session.
