Get Ready for Version 5010 - GetReady5010 Website Now Live
Come January, the healthcare industry will have less than a year left to prepare for the Version 5010 transaction set change on Sun Jan 1, 2012. Have you started to prepare for the transition?
To assist with compliance, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services is supporting an education effort, Get Ready 5010, that will kick off with a series of free webinars Tuesday, January 11 through Thursday, January 13, 2011. These webinars will feature speakers from CMS and provider and payer organizations, and will discuss:
- The current level of readiness and plans for testing;
- How to prepare for testing; and
- Version 5010 basics for newcomers.
The Get Ready 5010 initiative is supported by a broad group of healthcare industry stakeholders representing providers, payers, government, and vendors who are coordinating their efforts to support a smooth and timely transition to Version 5010.
Whether you are well along with your Version 5010 project or just starting, you will find value in one or more of these free webinars. For more information and to register, visit http://www.GetReady5010.org. We hope you'll join us!
