- Distinguished professional activity or prominence in teaching, patient care, or professional service over many years
- Designed for senior practitioners who have not been active in ACP or who are not board certified
Note: Weight is given to the substantial teaching contributions, scientific or scholarly presentations, or the organization of scientific or clinical training programs on a continuing basis. Candidates should document active participation in hospital or civic activities
