Leadership Development
The Leadership Enhancement and Development (LEAD) Program targets internists early in their careers and offers a variety of activities designed to provide participants with the skills, resources, and experiences necessary to become effective leaders in any setting.
Leadership Information
Leadership information and experience can be gained from attending selected courses
at ACP’s Internal Medicine Meeting or participating in local ACP chapter activities. Join us on Wednesday, April 21, 2010, at this year’s full-day pre-course “Beyond the Basics: Advanced Leadership Thinking” that offers didactic presentations followed by small group discussions. College Masters, past Governors, Regents, and Council members will facilitate small group interactions to focus on creating a shared vision, managing change, thinking strategically, and empowering others.
A broad range of 60-90 minute courses will be offered throughout the Internal Medicine week as part of the LEAD Program. These courses will be identified shortly for the LEAD track in 2010.
