- On April 10, 2007, our Governor sent the following letter to Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Rhode Island advocating for intermists to receive an increase in the fee schedule.

from Jim Purcell, President and CEO of Blue Cross of Rhode Island was received. - On May 22, 2007, our Governor sent the following letter to UnitedHealth Care of New England advocating for fair compensation for internists and their critical work citing the communitment Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Rhode Island made for regional parity in reimbursement.
