At this year's Internal Medicine Meeting, ACP presented fifteen Evergreen Awards to honor Chapters that created new programs that strengthened the chapter and increased member communication and involvement. The Central American Chapter was recognized for their Patient Safety initiatives in the category of Education/Communication and their seminar on Health of the Elderly in the category of International Activities.
