John Phillips Memorial Award for Outstanding Work in Clinical Medicine

Established: 1929
In honor of: The late Dr. John Phillips, former Governor and Regent of the College.

This award is bestowed for outstanding work in clinical medicine. Clinical medicine shall be interpreted to include all phases of clinical research or practice of medicine. The recipient shall hold a medical degree.

Nominating and supporting letters should address:

  • What are the significant contributions of the nominee to clinical medicine?
  • Have the nominee’s contributions been sustained over time? In which ways?
