The award winner should exemplify ACP's core values, including leadership, excellence, respect, compassion, professionalism, and responsibility.
Jeffrey P. Harris, MD, MACP has served ACP in various leadership roles, including Governor, Regent, and President of ACP. He is a symbol of creativity and progressive thinking, and developed "Multiple Small Feedings of the Mind" lecture series that is popular at the Internal Medicine meetings. Dr. Harris served as vice-chair of the Finance committee, chair of the Health and Public Policy committee, and on the ACP Board of Trustees.
