Honorary Fellowships are granted to presidents or their equivalents of medical societies abroad who participate upon invitation in the Convocation ceremony at ACP's annual meeting. Honorary Fellows are designated as Honorary Fellows of the America College of Physicians and are authorized to use the letters FACP(Hon) in connection with their professional activities.
The College conducts an active international program, and maintains liaison relationships with the International Society of Internal Medicine, the European Federation of Internal Medicine, the Sociedad Latinoamericana de Medicina Interna and the Royal Societies and Academies of medicine.
