Medical Students Needed to Work at ACP's Internal Medicine Meeting 2016

Earn while you learn!

The American College of Physicians is looking for medical students to act as standardized patients in the Herbert S. Waxman Clinical Skills Center and ultrasound-guided precourse to be held at Internal Medicine Meeting 2016 in Washington, DC, from May 3-May 7. This is a noninvasive workshop, and students will be used to demonstrate ultrasound technique only and imaging of normal anatomy. All standardized patients will be prescreened before the scheduled sessions.

Students assigned to the Clinical Skills Center will be paid a small honorarium ($100 for a half-day, $200 for a full day) for their time and those assigned to the ultrasound-guided precourse will be paid $65 for each 2-hour session. Positions are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. All students are welcome to take advantage of the learning opportunities presented in both the precourse and the Herbert S. Waxman Clinical Skills Center in their free time.

If you live in the area or are planning to attend Internal Medicine Meeting 2016 and would like to help, please contact Lisa Levine at (800) 523-1546, ext. 2588, or llevine@acponline.org.
