High Value Care 3: Improve Your Diagnostic Process to Practice High Value Care

This module provides knowledge, tools and strategies that support physicians in their ability to: connect improved clinical reasoning to the practice of high value care; define critical elements of high-quality clinical reasoning; apply sensitivity, specificity, and predicative values to clinical scenarios to improve diagnosis; identify four strategies to improve clinical reasoning and diagnostic accuracy (bias check-in, diagnostic time-out, clinical decision support tools, close observation).
