Call for Abstracts from All ACP Community (Private, Group and Academic Practice) Providers
The New Mexico ACP Chapter welcomes and encourages abstract submissions from NMACP members. Abstract categories are Quality Improvement Projects, Practice Innovations, Education Innovations, Clinical Vignettes, or Research. Abstracts from community (private, group, academic practice) providers are separate from the Resident/Fellow Members' and Students’ competition and should be sent to email@example.com for approval and NOT submitted via the online form found on the chapter web site. The deadline for submission and to be acknowledged in the meeting materials is September 20, 2013.
Dear ACP Members,
We are pleased to announce the Call for Abstracts for the 2013 ACP New Mexico Chapter Scientific Meeting, which will be held October 17-19 at the Sheraton Uptown Hotel in Albuquerque, 2600 Louisiana Blvd. N.E.
The first author and presenter must be a provider with current ACP membership status. There is a limit of one (1) entry per first author. The deadline for entries is September 20, 2013. All abstracts submitted will be for poster presentation. There will be a recognition award for community provider presenters. Refer to the online guides on How to Write a Clinical Vignette Abstract and How to Write a Research Abstract for more information.
We highly encourage you to submit early to ensure your abstract is received. You will receive an e-mail notification once your abstract has been successfully submitted. Please use your most used e-mail address when submitting the abstract. All communication regarding the abstracts will be sent electronically. Abstracts can only be submitted electronically to firstname.lastname@example.org. Word limit is 400 words. Please use the abstract submission form.
Plan to set up your poster between 4:00 to 5:00 pm on Thursday, October 17. Judging will take place 5:00-6:00 pm on that day. We ask that you be present during the judging for questions. Poster board measuring 32" x 40" with a 1/4" thickness and tacks will be available at the hotel at the entrance to the exhibit hall at the Sheraton Albuquerque Uptown Hotel, 2600 Louisiana Boulevard, Albuquerque. Posters will be on display beginning Thursday, October 17, at 6:00-8:30 p.m., Friday, October 18, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Saturday, October 19, at 7:00 a.m. through 11:00 a.m. and must be picked up before noon that day.
We ask that you be present at a reception 5:20-6:20 p.m. on Friday, October 18, for discussion and to answer questions regarding your abstract. Prizes will be awarded at this reception.
